Dear Members and Friends of BAPRM

2012 is going to be an exciting year for Bay area relocation professionals.　 Will you be part of it?

Bay Area Mobility Management (BAMM) is the result of two specialized human resource organizations –Western International Personnel Association (WIPA) and Bay Area Professionals in Relocation Management (BAPRM)—partnering to better support global mobility and relocation professionals in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. 

Both organizations have a rich history of providing wonderful educational meetings and the annual mobility conference always receives rave reviews for providing cutting edge presentations to help global mobility professionals. I can tell you that the challenges our industry faces in today’s economic climate can be daunting.  We provide a real service to our members.

Eric Halverson of Ebay serves on the board of directors for BAMM.   "I think it makes perfect sense," he says.　"WIPA focused on international issues and BAPRM originally focused on domestic relocation issues.  In recent years, we found that our two organizations were producing very similar programs at our meetings.  Joining together makes us a stronger and larger organization that can achieve even greater results."

The joined forces of BAPRM and WIPA equals one dynamic networking, educational and charitable organization.  And I’ve been told by several and further supported by the sellout crowds experienced at 2011 BAPRM meetings is:  BAMM is where it’s at!　

The new Board of BAMM has already met to discuss goals for 2012.　 We are also scheduling a Board workshop to strategize on the new organization’s goals to best support our membership.

If you are not a member of BAMM, join today so you don’t miss out.　 Invitations to meetings and special events will begin to be sent to members first, then as space allows to remaining email lists.　 Last year we saw record attendance and locating space for larger groups at corporate host sites is limited.

Volunteering for BAMM is rewarding! Whether to mentor for a future role on the Board or Conference, help with meeting programs, etc. BAMM welcomes every volunteer as you run this organization!
