Toys for Tots – Have a wonderful holiday season with the US Marine Corp!
Recipients – underprivileged children in our local community
The holiday season is a time for giving and sharing that children should be able to enjoy. Unfortunately, many needy children don’t have the opportunities others do in this regard, as their families cannot afford toys or gifts.
This year BAPRM members will be asked to bring a toy (or 2) to our holiday event, where we will be joined by uniformed Marines from the US Marine Corp for inclusion in their Toys for Tots program.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The Toys for Tots program wishes to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children!
How you can help
BAPRM urges its members and friends to join us on December 9 (details to be advised) and bring a new unwrapped toy (or 2) while enjoying the festive season with our guests from the US Marine Corp!
